Congratulation Ceremonies for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in Delaware, November 7, 2020

US President-Elect Joe Biden has continued to  nominate members on his team, as he gets closer to the ed of the year.  On Monday , December 7, 2020, he announced the nomination of Defence, Health Care, and COVID-19 advisory team candidates.  The new nominations continue, if nominees are confirmed,  to break  racial and gender barriers as promised by Joe Biden during the campaign. 
In the new nominations, one of the key candidates is  Dr. Anthony  Fauci, a familiar figure who will remain Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and is adding to his title Chief Medical Adviser on COVID-19.  Another nominee who will be at the top of the dicussions is Gen. Lloyd Austin, a retired general, to Head the Defense Department. If confirmed, Gen Lloyd Austin will be the first Black to be Secretary of Defense.

US President-Elect Joe Biden has published his first newsletter as President-Elect.  The overreaching message in the newsletter is: America is back and America is ready to lead..  The message starts with updates on the teams recently formed and the nominees. These include appointments and nominees for the Transtion,   National Security, Foreigh Policy, Law Enforcement, and Economic teams (US 2020 Elections: Joe Biden Nominates Economic and Communication Team Members of His Cabinet).   President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice_President Elect Kamala Harris also highlighted the theme of the newsletter:  Help is on the Way.  Below are the key highlights of the newsletter published on December 4, 2020.

US President-Elect Joe Biden has expanded and reinforced his team with new nominations that align with his agenda. On Monday , November 30, 2020, he announced the nomination of the senior economic and press teams. The Biden transition team confirmed in  press releases and communications that the teams, if nominees are confirmed,  break  racial and gender barriers as promised by Joe Biden during the campaign.  Before disclosing the economic team,  an all-female senior press team was appointed.  Ex-Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen, nominated for Treasury Secretary,  was included in the projected list of  the candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were considering and vetting for the same position, as published  by AfroAmerica Network on November 11, 2020 ( See AroniSmart: US  2020 Elections: Top Candidates For Joe Biden's Government).
