Boston Celtics ended the journey of the Milwaukee Bucks, despite an exceptional performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo and the team.  Giannis Antetokounmpo who narrowly lost the NBA Season MVP title to Nikola Jokic (see here: BA 2021-2022 Season MVP: Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic Beats Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo, Again, the Second Year in a Row.) was among the favorite to win the finals MVP.

Miami Heats easily eliminated Milwaukee Bucks , 4-2. In Western Conference, while Garden State Warriors  beat  Memphis Grizzlies in 6 games , with 4-2, Phoenix Suns and  Dallas Mavericks had to go all way to the 7th game.

In game 7,  Boston Celtics Jayson Tatum and Grant Williams were the stars. Jayson Tatum scored  23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Grant Williams  score a career high of  27 points.
