Kagame’s son, Ivan C. Kagame, 31-years-old, has been linked to mansions worth almost $9 million, in Scarsdale, New York and Beverly Hills, CA. News and reports have been reporting on the wealth of one of the African dictators, Paul Kagame and the extravagant life and acquisitions of properties by him and his family members and close aides around the World, especially in the United States. In 2018, there were reports, that Paul Kagame’s son, Ivan C. Kagame, then 27 years-old, had bought a mansion in a New York’s upper-class neighborhood of Scarsdale for $2 millions dollars.
Now, according to a new report by the US magazine Dirt the Rwandan President’s son just moved into a lavish Beverly Hills home worth $6.9 million (see here Dirt: Rwandan President’s Son Moves Into Lavish Beverly Hills Home).

According to Dirt, "It’s not entirely clear who currently owns the former Vonn-Subban estate, or whether Kagame is the owner himself or merely rents. Records show the property is now registered to an LLC managed by a successful Nevada-based real estate agent and known Kagame associate. (The property was never officially listed for rent, but comparable homes in the same neighborhood can command upwards of $35,000 per month.)""

Rwanda: One of the poorest counties ruled by one of the most brutal dictators

Rwanda is known as a small, impoverished, landlocked country in Africa. For the last 27 years, one of the most poorest countries in Africa has been ruled by one of the most brutal African dictators, General Paul Kagame. Paul Kagame, 64-years-old, often talks about tolerance, openeness, reconciliation, and giving power to the Rwandan people but for now he is mostly known for his authoritarian streak and an impressive record of bloody repression and massive systematic crimes both inside Rwanda and in neighboring countries, since 1990.

Initially claiming to be ready to release power, in 2015, Paul Kagame, when his second term allowed by the constitution progressed, decided to rewrite the term-limit clause of the Rwandan constitution, to allow him to run for a third term in the 2017 elections and remain in power for life.

Kleptocrats and Sons: A Known Story.

If the reports on the properties acquired by his son Ivan Cyomoro Kagame are true, they will further confirm an “illustration of the full cycle of kleptocracy”, which goes as follows: They loot their countries, swim in a sea of wealth and orgies farther from their homelands, mostly in Western foreign lands, especially the United States, while their people are starving or dying from easily preventable diseases, and their killing squads are brutally murdering those who dare to speak up against corruption, embezzlement and tyranny.

"They" are tyrants and corrupt foreign leaders and their relatives, a large number from Africa. After siphoning the economies of their countries, they use the loot to buy mansions, Yachts, rare paintings and artworks, luxury mansions or apartments, jewelry, million dollar cars, and other expensive items in the United States of America or hide the money via Panama, through shell companies. What is remaining is spent on gambling, orgies, and never ending parties. Ivan Cyomoro Kagame has often bbeen seen wearing $200,000 watches, driving $500,000 trucks, and sailing and holding lavish parties on private yachts.

Recently this looting has been changing, thanks to the United States government. A few years ago, the US Department of Justice decided that enough is enough and that these tyrants and corrupts need to pay their homelands and people back. (See here: African Kleptocrat Dictators: Like the US, the European Union Steps Up Investigation Efforts)

Under this law, the US was able to seize the properties of Theodore Nguema Obiang Mangue, the Vice-President and son of the long term tyrant of Equatorial Guinea, Teadoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo (see African Kleptocrat Dictators: Like the US, the European Union Steps Up Investigation Efforts) and to target open a case on allegedly "ill-gotten gains" by the family of Denis Sassou-Nguesso, President of Congo-Brazzaville, in the United States this time. Two Florida federal prosecutors initiated proceedings on the behalf of the United States Department of Justice to seize a luxury property in Florida estimated at close to $ 3 million, which they claim was acquired by Denis Christel Sassou-Nguesso, the son of the Congolese dictator Denis Sassou-Nguesso (see here:Kleptocrat Dictators and Sons: US vs. Denis Christel Sassou-Nguesso )

Kleptocrats Under Watch.

Sources have told AfroAmerica Network that American prosecutors are eyeing properties owned by relatives of several African dictators in the United States.

The US Government wants these dictators, their families and relatives to return the laundered money, at least what is remaining of it, to where it came from. For that, the US has set up a special unit, at the Justice Department, known as the Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative, under Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section (AFMLS). So far, the unit has pursued cases involving dictators, corrupt foreign officials and royalty.

The question is: Will the properties owned by Ivan Cyomoro Kagame in the US fall under the Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative?

AfroAmerica Network is following the story.
