First, it was LA Lakers (LAK)' LeBron James vs Miami Heat' Jimmy Butler vying for the win and NBA MVP in the 2020 NBA Bubble. In the end, LeBron James won both: LAK beat MIA, 4-2, to with NBA 2020 Finals held in the NBA Bubble and LeBrown James got the MVP. The LA Lakers won their 17th championship, their first with LeBron James.
In Game 6, the LAK beat the MIA 106-93. LeBron James and Anthony Davis were the key contributors for the LA Lakers. Having the NBA games in 2020, held in the Bubble, are themselves special, given the circumstances and incredible odds due to COVID-19.
The LAK's win will be memorable. Jimmy Butler, in some games, was unstoppable, but could not prevail over LeBron James and Anthony Davis. LA Lakers deserved the win and they got it. LeBron James deserved the win and the MVP award and he got them: it is his 4th NBA championship win. Anthony Davis won his fist NBA championsip.
NBA players and officials showed their first stand for and consistenly raised awareness on Racial Justice. During the championship and MVP award ceremony, tributes were paid to Kobe Bryant who passed away early this year (see here:Kobe Bryant, One of The Greatest Basketball Players of All Time, Has Passed Away at the Age of 41)
