What is wrong with General Paul Kagame and RPF Regime in Rwanda? Reflecting on the disappearance of my older brothers Major Ir. Emmanuel Munyaruguru and Thaddee Munyamvuke, the killings of my sisters Priscilla "Nyirarusagi" Nyirahabineza and Appoline "Elizabeth" Mujawimana, of my old brother Oban Ndarama,and of my nephew Twizere.

1-Introduction
It has been almost 8 years that my older brother Emmanuel Munyaruguru, also addressed to as Major Ingenieur (Maj. Ir.) Emmanuel Munyaruguru, referring to his education at the Belgian Royal Military Academy (Ecole Polytechnique Royale Militaire - ERM) and his past military career in Rwanda, was kidnapped by Rwandan military intelligence operatives working with top Ugandan Police agents and brought to Kigali, Rwanda. General Paul Kagame, his intelligence services and his army have, later on, made him disappear.
Since his kidnapping from Uganda and his disappearance in Rwanda, people, including friends, acquaintances and reporters, have been asking why I and/or our family have never publicly commented on the case of my older brother. Given that the day of March 2 and the month of April are special for my family and relatives, I take this opportunity to comment. In fact, as the World knows, or at the least the RPF leaders and my family know, and you may find out below, March 2 is a special day in the remembrance of the painful events that happened on March 2, 1997 (See here Beyond Ethnic Politics and Fear: Hutu, Tutsi, and Ethnicity in Rwanda). But my close family has experienced tragic events from the invasion of Rwanda on October 1, 1990, to date.
2. Why Sharing my Thoughts, Now?
Why did the Rwandan government and the RPF regime, especially General Paul Kagame, decide to kidnap and make my brother Emmanuel Munyaruguru disappear? These are answers we are still seeking. We also encourage people close to General Paul Kagame and all Rwandans in general to seek the truth. Whatever the outcome, the courage and selflessness of my brother will always be an inspiration to me, his children, and his relatives and many Rwandans.
3. Emmanuel Munyaruguru’s Lifelong Leadership and Humanity Against All Odds
Those who went to school with Emmanuel Munyaruguru, and myself, at the College of Sciences of Musanze, know about his leadership skills and how caring for people he really was. For these reasons, he was elected and confirmed as the president (or dean) of the student council and was basically part of the management of the school. In fact, he was the right hand of the Marist Brothers, especially the Director, the late Rev. Brother Pascal Nkurunziza, for most of the three years we stayed at the College of Sciences of Musanze. In Musanze, he was an inspiration for me. He was so proud of me when I graduated the valedictorian of our promotion, whereas he ranked as the salutatorian and a best friend of mine, whom I considered as another brother, ranked third.
Munyaruguru's leadership and caring for people, especially the underprivileged and the vulnerable, did not start at the College of Musanze. He was like that, even when we were children, growing up in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (then Congo) and then back in Rwanda. That trait did not end in Musanze, either. It followed him at the Ecole Polytechnique Royale Militaire of Belgium, then as a Rwandan ranking military officer, and consequently as one of the negotiators of the Rwandan Arusha Peace Accords between the Rwandan Government and the RPF rebels.
Even though I was not in Rwanda since 1991, I was told, by both RPF sympathizers I was in contact with in the United States of America and from Rwandan Government officials, that, while in Arusha, Maj. Ir. Emmanuel Munyaruguru did not hesitate to meet with and attentively listen to the differing views from some of the RPF leaders.
He always sought and had contacts with people who could help on the dream of his life: peace, humanity, and welfare of people. I remember visiting him in Trømso, Norway. During the visit, I met at his home people like Major Gerard Ntashamaje, then an alleged refugee and deserter from Rwandan Patriotic Front Army (RPA), who later returned into RPA, after accomplishing part of his army intelligence mission. I also listened to some of his frequent warm and casual phone conversations with the late Mwami Kigeli Ndahindurwa IV.
Once in exile, my brother Emmanuel Munyaruguru persevered on his leadership and humanitarian advocacy path, trying to bring people together and especially caring for refugees and the vulnerable in the Great Lakes region, working with the United Nations and NGOs. He was often targeted, without success by the Rwandan government, including using the unfounded trumped up charges (see Norwegian Royal Attorney Dismisses Rwandan Accusations Against Rwandan Major Emmanuel Munyaruguru as Unfounded) or even physical assassination.
Several Rwandan government funded reporters, journalists, and organizations have tried to link Emmanuel Munyaruguru to Rwandan political opposition or rebel groups (see here: 1) https://francegenocidetutsi.org/LeadershipOfRwandeseArmedGroupsInDRC.pdf; 2) https://www.undocs.org/S/2009/603 ; 3) https://www.afroamerica.net/AfricaGL/2011/05/20/rwanda-when-seeking-peace-becomes-terrorism//index.html ). Some reports went as far as making dishonest or disreputable arguments, without any merits, alleging that, as my brother, he must have been a member of the political organizations I was involved in.
Let me be clear: to my knowledge, my brother Emmanuel Munyaruguru has never been a leader or a member of any Rwandan opposition group, whether armed or political.
4. Emmanuel Munyaruguru’s Kidnapping from Uganda and Detention and Disappearance in Rwanda
While working with the Norwegian government and NGOs, Emmanuel Munyaruguru made several humanitarian trips around the World, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Republic of Congo, and Uganda. It is during one of such humanitarian trips, in mid 2014, to help refugees and to care for the most vulnerable in the Great Lakes region of Africa that the Rwandan government decided to stop him from accomplishing these commendable humanitarian actions.
After his kidnapping from Uganda, General Paul Kagame sent emissaries, including some well known top leaders of the Rwandan military intelligence to our family and relatives, with threats, hypocritical soothing words, and mixed information regarding Maj. Ir. Emmanuel Munyaruguru's whereabouts. They put forward bizarre terms. Some of the threats were communicated to my relatives by a current high ranking official within the RPF regime, accompanied by high ranking Rwandan military intelligence officers. The high ranking emissary individual was well known to my family, as my own father paid for his education, including his schools fees, tuition and other needed items, almost during his entire high school education, when his own family could not afford it. He went on to graduate in universities and becoming a high ranking official within the RPF government and administration. I also received several calls by unknown people from Kampala, Uganda or using phones registered in Uganda, claiming to know the whereabouts of my brother and inviting me to call back and discuss the case.
Some of the threats implied that the Rwandan government was holding Maj. Ir. Emmanuel Munyaruguru in a secret detention safe house. Later on, we also got the confirmation of his kidnapping and detention from some security operatives, who could not bear the fact that an innocent man was in detention in a secret safe house and being tortured. I also got information that one of the people in charge of Emmanuel Munyaruguru was a person well known to both of us. Unfortunately, the security operatives were not ready to come forward further, for their own and their families’ security.
I was baffled when I saw on social media, Rwandan operatives, especially Tom Ndahiro, who, while reacting to a story published in Norwegian media about the disappearance of Emmanuel Munyaruguru, were denying that Emmanuel Munyaruguru is my brother, while the Rwandan government had already been, for months, harassing my close relatives following his kidnapping and disappearance, paying investigators, questionable non-government organisations, and agents, and pushing the United Nations to publish reports stating that he was my brother, and hence was involved in the political organization I was a member of (see Tom Ndahiro @TomNdahiro 29 Jun 2015
@bwizaonlinenews @TweetRwanda Iyi nkuru irimo ikinyoma cy'uko Munyaruguru (Umukwe wa Col. Ntibitura) ava indimwe na Kanyamibwa.. Translation: "This story contains a lie that Munyaruguru (a son-in-law of Col. Ntibitura) is a brother of Kanyamibwa...)
Later, we learned that the government had decided to make my brother disappear after he refused some terms, coming directly from General Paul Kagame. It was reported to me that some of the terms were to publicly acknowledge that he was captured while leading a rebel group and preparing to launch attacks against the Rwandan government with the support from some Ugandan government and military leaders. Obviously, knowing my brother, he could not agree to such terms from General Paul Kagame, if they were not in the interest of all Rwandans and included a pack of lies to support a well designed propaganda campaign and an evil agenda.
People may ask me why Emmanuel Munyaruguru did not accept or pursue General Paul Kagame’s offer and terms or why I and my family did not privately try to enter into contact with General Paul Kagame and his government officials and abide by his terms. I will not go into details, but I have asked some people the following question: “would you accept a bread from a person who has poisoned your loved ones to feed your kids?”. To Christians and wise people, I referred to the verse in Matthew 7:15-16 about evil people "who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves…You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?”.
There are many reasons why we did not walk into the trap. The truth is that with their terms, General Paul Kagame and his closest aides were looking for publicly justifiable ways to achieve their evil agenda, using my brother as a sacrifice. We were also reminded to, in any case, always remember that gifts from evil people are wickedness and a snare on the neck. Furthermore, what my family, my relatives and I want and have always wanted in Rwanda is more than individual, personal, or selfish privileges or favors. Our aspiration is for all Rwandans to feel safe, united, freed and free, so that they may pursue happiness as anyone else in the free World.
4. What Our Family and Relatives Expect from General Paul Kagame, his Regime and his Relatives
General Paul Kagame and the RPF have committed crimes, crimes beyond human imagination. Enough crimes. But, I am always reminded, as a christian and a human, that only God will judge. However, it is time that Rwandans, as one, move beyond such a tragic past.
As the World knows, or at the least the RPF leaders and my family know, on March 2, 1997, Rwandan Patriotic Front government elite troops entered my region of origin, including my village in Jenda, Nkuli, Ruhengeri, rounded up most of the innocent civilians, neighbors, people I grew up with, some of my elementary school teachers and schoolmates, brought them to the top of the Konoma hill, overlooking the Rubare Mountain range, and savagely executed them. Among these were 57 closest relatives, cousins, and nephews, from all ethnic groups, massacred by some vicious RPF military leaders, in just one day. What was their crime? Being Hutus, Tutsis or Twas related to Hutus, Tutsis opposing the crimes being committed by RPF, or simple people just living together, not caring about ethnic groups or ethnic identify.
We have always wanted such senseless crimes to stop and General Paul Kagame’s government to bring all Rwandans together. That is what we asked Paul Kagame and his emissaries. That is what my brother Maj. Ir. Emmanuel Munyaruguru wanted. Our family believed that if we reached these objectives and he was freed from Paul Kagame's shackles, it would have been one of the greatest achievements of his life. If not, pursuing such a dream would be the greatest tribute to his life.
People may ask me whether I or my family are bitter, angry with General Paul Kagame, his army or his family.
Well, I just wanted to reassure everybody that I and my family and relatives, especially my 100+ years old mother Esther Nyirabucakara have no place for bitterness or hatred, against anyone. You know, my mother, Esther, a "proud Umunyinginya girl, descendent of the rebel leader Byinshi, Son of Bamara, Son of Yuhi II Gahima" as she used to tell us when we were small kids in Congo and then Rwanda, has sworn “to only seek what is right and bow to the will of God," she has served almost her entire life, as a 7th Day Adventist deacon,"but never to anyone else." With the case of our brother Emmanuel I, now, understand that this includes even the great-grandson of Kabare.
I have consistently argued that, in Rwanda, politicians try to use our real or virtual differences to achieve unscrupulous, dishonest and perfidious goals, that have nothing to do with people's or our nation's interests. These politicians' behaviors, past and present, have created a vicious circle of hatred, leading to fratricides and attempts of self extermination.
I view General Paul Kagame and people around him also as tragic victims of such a heritage and post traumatic syndrome disorder affecting the otherwise beautiful loving and lovable Rwandan people. And General Paul Kagame appears to know about it, since he himself admitted to it in international media. As I have consistently said on several occasions, he has two choices: confront his shackles of hatred and show that a true leader can overcome or end up as any other bloody tyrant in the history.
This is a point I have been trying to make for decades (see here Beyond Ethnic Politics and Fear: Hutu, Tutsi, and Ethnicity in Rwanda and When Seeking Peace Becomes Terrorism), even in my speech in Kasiki, Democratic Republic of Congo on July 31, 2008 (see Kasiki Process: Demobilisation du 31 Juillet 2008). In Kasiki, in front of the Representatives of governments of several countries and of international organizations, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the United Nations, USA, South Africa, the European Union, and the delegation of the Rwandan government led by the Head of external intelligence, I made a clear call to General Paul Kagame.
I had made a similar call on January 24, 2008 in Kinshasa, at the invitation of the government of the DRC to launch a comprehensive process to bring peace iin Eastern DRC and in the Great Lakes Region in general, while leading a delegation composed of Rwandan political and religious leaders and adressing the representatives of the DRC Government, the United Nations Ogani envoys, and UN peaceking mission(see Kisangani Process: Déclaration sur le Processus de Paix dans la Région des Grands Lacs, le 24 Janvier 2008).
Instead of listening, over the following decade, he spent tens of millions of dollars funding lobbyists, lawyers, politicians, journalists, and others to specically target me, but also my relatives, and the leaders of our political organization.
I remember some of the well-connected people in USA and in other powerful countries, aware of the fact that Paul Kagame and his RPF Government had put such a bounty worth of tens of million on my head, contacting me. They warned me, with specific details on the fact that Paul Kagame and his government had put such a bounty on my head, asking me why, given my comfortable situation in USA, I took the dangerous risk to speak up, to challenge a well connected Paul Kagame and his regime, and to engage and lead that peace process in the Great Lakes Region of Africa.
These wonderful people, full of integrity, who took the time to warn me, were also knowledgeable about the Bible or the Torah. Hence, I pointed them to the verses in the book of Esther 4:12 - 14. I remarked that, although I might not rise up to the level of Esther in the Bible, I believed that being in USA, in the situation I was in, I could not remain silent on the situation in Rwanda, Eastern DRC, and the African Great Lakes in general, regardless of the risks, threats, bounties on my head, or other personal sacrifices. These unforgettable extraordinary people told me that they really understood and were supportive of my position and promised to provide any spiritual and moral support as much as they can for that cause.
These wasted tens of millions of dollars could have been better used to fund projects to improve the lives of Rwandans. If he had let my brother go, Paul Kagame himself would be a free man. If he let the Rwandan people be free, he will be even freer.
5. Rwandan Historic Tragic Events, Repression, and Impact on Our Family
Just to clarify: my relatives were killed by evil people regardless of the ethnic group of the killers, or of whether the killers were from Interahamwe, RPF, RPA, ALIR , CNDP, or Others. All these killers have one thing in common: evil spirit and thirst for innocent blood.
Hence, as I think about my bother Emmanuel Munyaruguru, I also pay tribute to my other siblings or relatives who were killed or disappeared since 1990:
5.1 My Brother Thaddée Munyamvuke
My brother Thaddee Munyamvuke's suffering started when as a teacher and the head of the school academy he had founded, he refused to join the Rwandan Patriotic Army in 1992-1993. He increasingly received numerous life threats from RPA intelligence operatives. The threats were specifically voiced during several night visits by RPA intelligence operatives, that often included people who grew up with us. Fearing for his life, he fled to Namibia, then to South Africa. He was later kidnapped by RPF operatives from Johannesburg, while waiting to be resettled to the USA or Norway, and made disappear;
Thaddée Munyamvuke was one of my old brothers, born between Emmanuel Munyaruguru and myself. Those who know both of us at the primary school of Cyamabuye may remember how he and I were blessed to be the 2 students from the school to have the highest score on the national competitive exam and to be admitted to the middle school (Tronc Commun) in 1973. We were both sent to the College of Kabgayi, then run by the Catholic congregation of Josephite Brothers. My father, Reuben Ntanshungu Zirimwabagabo took a two week time-off from his job and accompanied us from Jenda to Kabgayi. At the College of Kabgayi we shared a desk for a bout two weeks, until the school principal, Josephite Brother Rev. Felicien, realized that we were brothers. He separated us, and assigned each of us to a different classroom, for the next three years. After the middle school national exam, I was admitted to the College of Sciences of Musanze and Thaddée, to the Ecole Normale de Byumba.
When Thaddee Munyamvuke graduated from National University of Rwanda, with a Bachelor's degree (Licensié) in English Litterature, he worked for Radio Rwanda and Imvaho newspaper. After a short period, he decided to pursue his long term dream: founding a school academy in Jenda, that will be competitive and open to all young people and help them achieve their dreams. The school academy was attended by kids from all ethnic groups, coming from Mutura, Karago and Nkuli. Parents, even those from all way Bigongwe, Kora, Runyanja, Rubare, Kagano, Mukamira, supported and sent their children to the school academy.
In 1990-1991 Forces Armées Rwandaises (ex-FAR) special military agents killed some of our Tutsi relatives, including an influential pastor within the 7th Day Adventist Church, accusing them of supporting the RPF. My brother was horrified, depressed, and revolted by the killing of our beloved pastor. He started being vocal against the killing and communicating his revolt to whoever would listen. Then, one day, RPF agents approached him and wanted to recruit him to join the RPA rebels. He refused and let them know that he was opposed to wars and advocated peace.
In 1991-1992 RPA soldiers killed Tutsi Bagogwe, including some parents of the students who attended the school academy, and started blaming the killings on the FAR. My brother Thaddee Munyamvuke was revolted and started being openly vocal against the RPF. The RPF sent him agents, that included his childhood friends. The agents, who showed up in the middle of the nights, threatened him and gave him a deadline to join the RPA rebel group or face retaliations. That is when we decided to help him seek refuge in Namibia and then South Africa. It was when he was admitted and getting ready to be relocated to two Western countries that he was kidnapped by RPF DMI agents in South Africa and disappeared.
5.2 My Sister Priscilla "Nyirarusagi" Nyirahabineza
My sister Priscilla Nyirahabineza was killed by Interahamwe in 1994 - 1996. In February1973, during the countrywide hunts for and killings of Tutsis, my father sent Priscilla Nyirahabineza to check on some of our Tutsi relatives. On her way to Gitambuko and Kagano where the Tutsi relatives lived, she was pursued by a mob of Hutus young men yielding bats, screaming that she was a Tutsi. She started praying and, somehow, an influential Hutu clan leader who knew my father and his children saw her and rebuked the mob.
My sister Priscilla Nyirahabineza, in tears, was escorted home by the influential Hutu leader and a group of young Hutu men. My father could not go and most of my brothers and sisters were scared. I volunteered and asked my father to send me instead. He hesitated. I was only 11 years old. I convinced him by explaining how my school friend Juru, a young Tutsi and I had resisted bullies trying to intimidate us at school. He agreed and covered my head with a large hat hiding my face.
On my journey, I was thinking about the tales my mother used to tell and felt like I was Maguru ya Sarwaya (Legs of Tornado) ready to hunt the mythical Imparambwe (see here Legs of Tornado - The Human Who Outran the Wind). I found our relatives in Kagano, sitting in ashes of their houses burned down by mobs of Hutus. The Tutsi elder among them told me: “Son, go tell your father, my brother, what you saw and let him know that only God can appreciate what he did by sending you, in moments like this, to witness this.” I was almost in tears, but courageously went back to report what I had seen.
It is some of the children of that elder, the people my sister was trying to check on when she was almost killed, that saved some of my relatives, on March 2, 1997, when RPF Tutsi soldiers massacred 57 of my relatives. These then valiant grown men in 1997 kept a watch on my relatives and ensured their safety until the end.
Despite the traumatic experience in February 1973, my sister Priscilla Nyirahabineza, whose surname Nyirarusagi came from her very long wavy hair since she was a baby, never gave up on people. A strong lady with very few words and a wonderful mother to her children, she was a savvy business woman, owning stores and businesses in Ntaruka and Karwasa, Nkumba, Ruhengeri. For her achievements and leadership, she was elected the chairwoman of women focused initiatives in the region. She was also selected to be part of rwandan delegations in international women conferences around the World, including to the People's Republic of China.
5.3 My Sister Appoline "Elizabeth" Mujawimana
My sister Appoline "Elizabeth" Mujawimana, who, along with two of her young kids, was killed in 1997 by ALIR, a Hutu armed rebellion group that was then on a rampage to kill all the Tutsis in the Bugoyi and Bigogwe area. My sister Mujawimana had been a social worker responsible for the area covering Mahoko to Bigogwe. ALIR soldiers and their Hutu mobs killed her and her children, accusing her of being a Tutsi Mugogwe working for the RPF.
Mujawimana, or Muja, as we called her, was very dear to me, since she was a baby. I have always remembered, has continued and will continue to remember the wonderful times when she, then a baby, used to spend days in my arms, sleeping, laughing, sucking milk from the baby bottle, usinng my thumb as a pacifier, or crawling around me all day long when my mother and my sisters had left both of us with a babysitter, when they had to travel to Kibumba, Congo, on their frequent business trips.
5.4 My Brother Oban Ndarama
My brother Oban Ndarama, an inspirational 7th Adventist christian since he was young as the leader of YMV (Youth Ministry of Volunteers) for the Kanyampereri church, was publicly executed in Gitambuko, on orders from RPA military leaders, when he tried to protect and shelter women and children targeted by RPF soldiers.
5.5 My Nephew Twizere
My nephew Twizere was killed by RPF soldiers.
5.6 My 57 and Other Countless Relatives Massacred by RPF and Its Militias
My 57 relatives who were massacred by RPF soldiers on March 2, 1997 in the village of Konoma, Secteur Jenda, Commune Nkuli, Prefecture Ruhengeri, Rwanda. Other numerous relatives killed in Mutara, Byumba and Kibungo by the RPF, between 1990 -1997;
As many who know about me and my family are aware, a large portion of my relatives are congolese and/or have been congolese for immemorial times. Many other family relatives fled to those areas in 1959 - 1963 and in 1973.
I, myself, spent my early childhood in the Congo. Some of the relatives of my ancestors were established in Kiwandja, Mweso, and Masisi in North Kivu and others in South-Kivu. Hence, some of my relatives who fled Rwanda after March 2, 1997, joined my Congolese relatives in North Kivu and South-Kivu. Others joined the increasing number of Rwandan refugees in the jungles of Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Consequently, since 1998, a large portion of my congolese relatives has been the target of the Rwandan Patriotic Army (RPA) and Rwandan Defense Forces (RDF). Those massacred are among more than 10 millions innocent congolese civilians and Rwandan refugees killed since 2000.
Below are a few incidents in which my relatives, both Congolese civilians and Rwandan refugees were massacred, raped, or enrolled by force in the Rwandan Patriotic Army or the proxy militias funded by the Rwandan military and fighting in the DRC. As a small example, I will just focus on the period between October 2008 and March 2009, and mostly in the area of Rutshuru - North Kivu:

- Several women were raped, killed, and burried in mass graves by CNDP and RDF soldiers in Nyongera;
- 39 women were killed and buried in mass graves in Rutshuru;
Late November and early December 2008: 300 men, mostly young boys were killed in Jomba, Bowes, and Kisigare by CNDP after refusing to enroll within CNDP.
Over the month of January 2009, several mass graves were discovered of civilians killed during the month of November and December 2008:
On January 15, 2009: a mass grave containing 39 bodies, including my relatives, was found near Kwanzaa.
On January 15, 2009: a mass grave containing 114 bodies, including my relatives, was found in Kamulina, near Mabungo Hutu camp;
In February 2009:

March 31, 2009 in Katemba, 2 km from Kwanja: 3 women relatives killed and 1 raped.
5.7 Other Documented Kidnappings, Killings and Disappearances in Uganda
Like my bother Emmanuel Munyaruguru, almost in the same period, more than 30 Rwandan refugees, including former RPF soldiers who had deserted to protest against widespread massacres and human rights abuses, were killed or kidnapped in Uganda, by RPF operatives working with some Ugandan military or police leaders. The list of those killed, kidnapped, and/or tortured is long and includes 10 family relatives, who were refugees in Uganda on their way from a wedding and were with Emmanuel Munyaruguru, killed by Rwandan operatives and members of Ugandan Police.
6. Conclusion: Continue the Good Fight; Change is Gonna Come
Remember all the victims, never give up the good fight, and pray for Paul Kagame.
These lists above focus on a few people, personally connected to me or to the case of my brother. However, there are millions of innocent civilians and activists, who have been abducted, unjustly imprisoned, or physically or spiritually killed by the RPF's and General Paul Kagame’s regime.
These include the people I personally know like Deo Mushayidi,and others well known like Col. Patrick Karegeya, Kizito Mihigo, Joshua Tuyishime aka Jay Polly, Yvonne Idamange Iryamugwiza, Aimable Karasira, Cyuma Hassan Dieudonné Niyonsenga, and Paul Rusesabagina. Let us not cease to advocate for, remember, and/or peacefully fight for all of them.
I cannot finish without thanking those who, from closest and farthest corners and all parts of the World, have encouraged me and my family, and prayed and advocated for my brother Mj. Ir. Emmanuel Munyaruguru,over the last 7 years. I encourage everybody to also pray for all Rwandans, including General Paul Kagame, his family, and his closest aides.
Les us echo the words in Hosea 10:13, to the leaders who "have plowed iniquity; have reaped injustice; have eaten the fruit of lies." "Because [they] have trusted in [they] own way and in the multitude of [their] warriors, therefore the tumult of war shall arise among [their] people"
In the end, as the late American singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Sam Cooke said, "with the unrelenting struggle, A Change Will Come". In Rwanda, “ It's been a long, long time coming, But I know a change is gonna come. Oh, yes it will.”
