M23 Rebels in Rwanda - 2013

On November 30, 2021 Uganda Defense Forces (UDF) launched attacks in Beni, Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and carried out airstrikes against Allied Defence Forces (ADF) positions, in a joint operation with the DRC armed forces (FARDC). UDF then deployed its troops in various areas in Eastern DRC.  Following the deployment of UDF troops,  Rwandan Defense Forces (RDF) started to discretly deploy its own forces into DRC with the aim to disrupt the military operations, using complex schemes.  Since then, the situation has  become more complex and has been worsening, involving covered attacks, diplomacy, blaming Rwandan rebels, and coup attempts.

UN-ICT - Niger Order on 8 Rwandans - 30 days extension

On February 7, 2022 the UN International Residual Mechanism fo Criminal Tribunals made a DECISION ON MOTIONS REGARDING THE RELOCATION AGREEMENT WITH NIGER AND ORDER FOR TRANSFER OF THE RELOCATED PERSONS TO THE ARUSHA BRANCH. The decision is to send the 8 Rwandans, now in Niger, back to Arusha, Tanzania.  With the decision,  the eyes have turned to Rwandans in a similar situation in Mali.

Rwandan Dictator Paul Kagame and his closest military aides, Gen James Kabarebe and Gen Patrick Nyamvumba

After almost 3 decades of respite, apart a few here and there, waves of military coups and coup attempts have returned in Africa, again. The stakes are high and some leaders, especially those labelled dictators, are already preparing for potential coups against their reign, readying and organizing their close associates and family members for the worst scenarios. One of these leaders is the Rwandan dictator General Paul Kagame,  who has been keeping a pretty low profile but  did not hide his worries during recent interviews with the media. AfroAmerica Network has obtained information regarding the scenarios being  secretely investigated or explored by closest advisers and family members  working with the most trusted agents within Rwandan Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI).

Mozambique President Felipe Nyusi received in Rwanda by Paul Kagame, April 2021

 On January 12, 2022,  an Extraordinary Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the SADC was held  in Malawi.  In the Summit, the SADC leaders hailed the successes of SAMIM and SADC troops in the fight against the insurgency in Mozambique, ignoring the contribution of the troops from Rwanda.  AfroAmerica Network sources close to the Rwanda and Mozambique governments have  now said that leaders of the two countries,  Filipe Jacinto Nyusi of Mozambique and, most importantly,  Paul Kagame of Rwanda are not happy. Their closest aids, facing frustration and anger,  are wondering what will follow.
