The Los Angeles Rams have beaten the Cincinnati Bengals in SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California, to win the Super Bowl 56 (LVI) and the 2022 NFL championship. With the win, the Los Angeles Rams have secured the second Super Bowl title in NFL franchise history. But one unprecedented event marked NFL Superbowl: the half-time performance by the star rappers Dr Dre, Mary J Blige, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar.
It was the first time in 33 years, that the Cincinnati Bengals were back in the Super Bowl. However, despite a huge number of enthusiastic fans, they were playing LA Rams's stadium.
Los Angeles Rams had an advantage of playing in SoFi Stadium, just the second time in NFL history that a team gets to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium. The game was the fifh showup in Super Bowl for the Rams history. They generally lost the previous four Super Bowl plays, 1-3. The Rams had never won a Super Bowl during their time in Los Angeles. The team was 0-2 in games played while they were based in L.A. and 1-1 in Super Bowls played while they were based in St. Louis, Missouri, when they beat Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV.

The Rams (15-5) were favored to win the Los Angeles's first Super Bowl, since 1984, when the Los Angeles Raiders beat Washington Commanders in January 1984.
The Bengals (13-7) were determined to win their first Super Bowl after losing to San Fransico 49ers, in their only two Super Bowl appearances.
A seven-time, first-team All-Pro, Aaron Donald, the three-time Defensive Player of the Year (2017, 2018 and 2020) was instrumental in Rams win. He built on his record sacks (98), tackles for loss (150) and quarterbacks hits (226) in the NFL. When the game started, he was the only player in NFL to successfull achieve 11 sacks in each of the last five seasons.
The LA Rams led Cincinnati Bengals at the onset. Odell Beckham Jr scored the first touchdown in the first quarter. He later left the game with a knee injury.
However, the Cincinnati Bengals were able to catch up quickly and to lead the game for most of the time, scoring 20 to 13, in early third quarter and ending the 3rd quarter with 20-16.
As expected, Matthew Stafford , the quarterback, delivered an outstanding performance. He threw three touchdown passes on the night, two to Cooper Kupp and one to Odell Beckham Jr. However, the most outstanding achievement came from a resilient offenseive team. By the end of the fourth quarter, LA Rams had come back and scored 23-20, which ended up to be the final score, thanks to Cooper Kupp and of course, Odell Beckham Jr. Cooper Kupp was the MVP.
The 2022 Super Bowl 56 halftime show was led by Dr Dre and in included Mary J Blige, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar. It was an epic Super Bowl halftime show performance. The show was impressive, with lights and dancers performing on the hits by the leading rappers, and was just an outstanding performance. The performance generated several comments on social media, with the main trend being that this was a first. Eminem ended his performance while kneeling “Colin Kaepernick-style”, reportedly defying the NFL.
Before the start of Super Bowl 56, Country music star Mickey Guyton performed the national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner" and Jhené Aiko performed "America the Beautiful".
