Apple Peek Performance Event : What Was Expected?

The last Apple's event was held on October 18, 2021, with a focus on new redesigned MacBook Pro and M1X chips and third generation AirPods, following the first Fall event on September 14, 2021 in which Apple unveiled iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, and iPad.

According to earlier rumors and reports before the event, it was expected that the focus would be on new Apple Silicon Macs, new iPad Air, and refreshed iPhone SE:

iPhone SE with 5G, A15 SoC, and improved storage;
iPad Air 5, with 5G support and A15 Bionic chip;
Apple Sillicon Macs were expected to come with a revised Mac Mini with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips;
a larger 27-inch iMac;
significantly redesigned MacrMini;
Announcement of the release date of the new MacOS 13;
second generation AirPods Pro;

Below are the products unveiled duing the 1-hour virtual Peek Performance Event.

Apple TV+:

New partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB) and streaming of Friday Night Baseball.

Apple iPad Air:

5G connectivity;
Apple Silicon M1 chip with 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, and Neural Engine cores
USB-C port
12MP Ultra Wide front camera supporting Center Stage
Faster connectivity speed, up to 3.5 Gbps

Apple iPhone SE:

5G modem;
A15 Bionic chip;
improved camera;
longer battery life;
storage options available are 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Apple iPhone 13:

new design refreshes for its iPhone 13: one for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini and another for iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
design refresh with lighter green colors, or Alpine green, for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max;
design refresh with darker green color for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini;
A15 Bionic chip;
improved camera;
longer battery life;
storage options available are 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

Apple Mac Studio and Studio Display:

Mac Studio, sized to 7.7 inches square and 3.7 inches tall, with M1 Max and M1 Ultra configurations, up to 128GB Unified Memory and to 8TB SSD.

Some new products are available for order and others will start to be shipped in April and May 2022.

Apple Event During Major Dynamics

As the new products were unveiled, investors remain uncertain about the market and Apple Stock has been impacted. After reaching a high of $182.01 in early January 2022, the stock has declined to $159.30, by March 7, 2022. After the event, the stock, following the market trend has started to climb. . Now the question is whether, following the Apple's Peek Performance event and the continued challenged on chips market, the downward trend and seesaw movements observed since January 2021 will be reversed.
