Alfred Nkubili, Rwandan Businessman with Rwandan President General Paul Kagame

Alfred Nkubili, a Rwandan businessman who, according to sources within Rwandan intelligence services was kidnapped at his house on Friday, July 03, 2020 by President Paul Kagame's security forces, has been back in court since August 6, 2020. On  August 11, 2020, a court, known as Gasabo District Court,  decided to keep Alfred Nkubili in jail for 30 days, pending additional investigations.

General Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of Burundi

We do not want to renew relations with a country that uses hypocrisy. A cunning country. It is out of the question that there is a country saying it wants to make friends with Burundi, when it put a thorn in our side so that we may step on it". These are the terms used by Burundian President General Evariste Ndayishimiye, also known as General Neva, the nickname during his freedom fighter days, to summarize the relations between Burundi and a country he did not name, but is an open secret.  Everybody AfroAmerica Network sources talked to, including Rwandan and Burundian sources within the Government and military leadership, stated it was Rwanda, the Burundi neighbor to the North.

Rose Christiane Raponda as Gabon Finance Minister in 2019

On July 16, 2020, Rose Christiane Ossouka Raponda, 56, was appointed as Prime Minister of Gabon by the ailing President Ali Bongo Ondimba. She replaced Julien Nkoghe Bekale, who has stepped down after serving in the post for 18 months. She is the first woman to become the head of government in Gabon.

General Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of Burundi

Sources within the Rwandan Defense Forces told AfroAmerica Network that Rwandan Military leaders have appointed two key former Burundian military leaders to lead the Burundi Desk within the Rwandan Defence Forces High Command. The two individuals  cited by the sources are former Burundi president,  Pierre Buyoya and a Rwandan-Burundian citizen, General Jean Bosco Kazura, the current Chief of Defence Staff of the Rwanda Defence Forces.
