The match is on October 16, 2015: who is picked to win the  HBO PPV main event between middleweight boxing champions Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux. Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs) vs. David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KOs) - WBA and IBF Middleweight Championship Unification.

There are two more major boxing PPVS  left for 2015, and both promise to deliver great action for the fans, particularly those still reeling from Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. Gennady Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs) will be unifying his WBA middleweight belt with IBF champion David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KOs).  The main event of Saturday October 17, 2015 is expected to sell-out HBO PPV event from Madison Square Garden in New York City. Although Golovkin is a significant favorite to not only maintain his undefeated record, but to extend his KO streak to 21, David Lemieux remains a formidable opponent.

Co-promoter Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy noted during his remarks.

Only in the U.S. can you have a fighter from Canada [Lemieux], a fighter from Kazakhstan [Golovkin], a fighter from Nicaragua [Roman Gonzalez], a fighter from Hawaii [Brian Viloria] and a fighter from Cuba [Luis Ortiz] and sell out the Garden,” De La Hoya said. “What a beautiful country and the people who live in it. That’s what it’s all about. God bless the U-S-of-A."
