Ubisoft E3 2016: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Just Dance 2017, more games and VR releases

Ubisoft held its E3 2016 press conference on June 13, 2016 and released new trailers for upcoming video games titles, virtual reality games, and availability plans.

Among the key announcements were:

  Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be released on March 7, 2017: Lead game designer Dominic Butler calls Wildlands "the largest action adventure open world Ubisoft has ever done." Wildlands will launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.  Wildlands is Ubisoft's largest open-world game ever and can completed in a single-player mode, four-player co-op, or a mixture of both.

  • Ubisoft's Dance franchise with return with Just Dance 2017: Just Dance 2017 will be available for all major platforms,  including the Nintendo NX.
  • South Park: The Fractured But Hole to be released on December 6, 2016: The new South Park game, The Fractured But Hole, is a follow-up to The Stick of Truth. It will be realsed on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on December 6th. A released demo for the game, includes new combat features, the superhero lair, three classes, and the hero's tragic backstory. It will come with a free copy of The Stick of Truth. 
  • The Division: Underground to be released on August 2,  with Survival: Underground will be available first on June 28, 2016 for Xbox One and PC. On August 2nd, 2016 the PS4 version will be out. Ubisoft revealed a new trailer for Survival, which will be a "completely new way to play the game". Survival release is planned for Summer.
  • Eagle Flight, a new VR game, available later this year on Oculus Rift and other VR platforms: Charles Huteau of Ubisoft Montreal and Palmer Luckey of Oculus VR took showcased a live PVP demo of Eagle Flight.

Other releases, demo and  games:

  •  Star Trek: The Bridge: a demo was shown. 
  •  For Honor release date is February 14th, 2017
  •  Viking: a new trailer and gameplay footage  were revealed.
  • Grow Up, a sequel to last year's Grow Home, will be released in August 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
  • Trials of the Blood Dragon was made available immediately. It combines Trials and Far Cry: Blood Dragon.
  • Watch Dogs 2 on PS4 first
  • Steep, a new extreme winter sports game, was revealed.
