Officer Michael Slager has been charged with murder in the shooting death of  50-year-old Walter Scott in North Charleston, South Carolina. Michael Slager shot the unarmed black man in back eight times as Scott was running away from him.

The shooting has sparked more national outrage in the United States, as it comes following high profile cases of police shooting and

killing unarmed black men, including the unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. A bystandard, Feidin Santana,  shot a video incriminating the policeman.

"I have watched the video, and I was sickened by what I saw," North Charleston police Chief Eddie Driggers told reporters  on Wednesday.

During a conference, the Mayor  of North Charleston, Mayor Keith Summey, said that he has ordered all the police officers to wear body cameras, "so every officer on the street" will wear one. However, the citizens of North Charleston and protesters did not appear happy and called on the Mayor to step down, chanting: "No Justice! No Peace! This is what democracy looks like!", wearing a "Black Lives Matter" T-Shirts.

The cop initially claimed that he used a Taser stun gun on Scott and that Scott tried to take his weapon. "Shots fired and the subject is down," Slager said, according to audio police reports. "He took my Taser."

However, the video shows that even before the officer started firing his gun, a dark object falls behind him and hits the ground. Then, after shooting the victim 5  times in the back, with one bullet hit his ear,  and handicuffing the lifeless body lying on the ground, he returns to the place of the alleged struggle happened, and picked up a dark object. Later the video, when the officer approaches Scott's body, he drops the dark object next to him.

Most of the people and media thanked Feidin Santana who took the picture stated that he was hero. FBI is investagating the case.
